Furnishing Design Appreciation - Phat Knits Twist Soft Bed

The Most Caring Furnishings - Cat Tom's Spiral Staircase
In London there is a couple who raised a 11-year-old cat named "Tom", Tom has arthritis, thus his ability to climb or jump has been restricted greatly. The couple both worried about Tom will turn to lazy with less activity, so they design and made a spiral staircase so through the ladder cat Tom can climb over the fence of yard and to enjoy the outside world. Own such a caring master, Tom is the happiest cat in the world.

Adrienne Ellery's tabby cat Tom has been getting on in years. He's 11-years-old and arthritis has made his joints creaky and his bones tired.

A Clock Can Knitting Sweaters appeared at Milan Furniture Fair
Time often seems to fly past with the ticking hands of a clock — but this intriguing unveiled by Norwegian designer Siren Elise Wilhelmsen at the Milan Furniture Fair turns traditional time telling on its head with his new work "365 Knitting Clock"
Wilhelmsen swapped numbers for wool yarns to visualize time in a new physical form that changes and develops as days pass — the clock will knit a 2 meter long scarf over the course of a year. The un-knitted thread is also placed on display as a sign of how much time is left of the current year.
Often products that create strong emotional attachments are more likely to survive in today’s throwaway society, and we think that the 365 Knitting Cloc is a great example of multifunctional design that resonates with the passage of time.

"Love Books, Love Forest" - 2011 Creative Green Bookshelves
“To speak one hundred times is no better than done it once”, environmental protection is not a thing that only done for speak --- in order to promote China’s green publication, to protect forest resources, the organization “Greenpeace China” launched an activity themed with “Love Books, Love Forest”.
Nowadays, the “Greenpeace” invited the well-known product designer Mr. Yang Mingjie to start a cross-border cooperation and created several pieces of bookstands and other creative products that embodies the environmental protection idea, thus to invoke people’s perception to save the forest with these creative designs.
The "Tree Planting" Bookshelf created by Mr. Yang Mingjie and his design team was made from thick cardboard, the overall shape is just like a tree trunk, the image conveyed the concept of "using of recycled paper = trees planting".
Books on the shelf are all published on recycled paper, while the creative product, compared with y-town book recycling program. The “y-town” recycling program also was launched in 2008, the program's core idea is to develop products using local recycled materials, as well as to advocate the environmental awareness of secondary use of daily-use products, recycling and saving resources.
Interesting and useful ideas: Settle the books and articles with priority order. Books in parentheses have the highest priority, followed in brackets, braces minimum.
